side mirrors defrost

Searching didn't get me anywhere as far as knowing if the little side mirror symbols light up when they're on. All I read so far is that the rear defrost turns on the side mirrors system. Anyone know for sure because mine do not light up and I have a few days off from work to bring it to the dealer if so.

They do not light up.

The only thing that lights up is the LED under the rear defrost button on the center dash, at least on my Base+Sport

Thanks for the reply, weird how other vehicles I owned had the same symbol and did light up, now at least I know it's not an electrical issue :bowrofl:
