tail lights questions

So I would like to know if anyone has replaced the nasty looking egg yolk real lights. Our lights look really nice but that yellow bulb is ugly. Has anyone replaced that with an LED Bulb that is yellow when on. I looked at Auto Zone and O'riley but I have not found what I am looking for.

I think he means the indicator light. Yes a chromed version replaces it easily and gives a much cleaner look.

You can also lightly dust the bulb with high temp silver spray paint. Same effect, just not LED (learned something in my ricer days!)

Chrome Dome Series | Autolumination

It's a 7440 bulb.

Look at the link above... and find a LED replacement?

I got all of my bulbs from these guys. http://www.yelp.com/biz/jlc-automoti...t_by=date_desc

Give them a call and they'll get you all squared away. Keep in mind you'll need a resistor if you replace the turn signals with LED bulbs to prevent hyperflashing.
