What we're saying is given an unforseen "accident" your harness will cause more damage to you than what we feel you're expecting. If you are using a 4 point you can potentially slide forward with a tremendous amount of force causing paralysis or an unwanted sex change. Andrew (De.point50) was just telling me about a 5 point harness that has a break away function that is more properly suited for your application. While they are more expensive it's a lot safer

My concern is the fact the bar is mounted to the chassis with a few weakass bolts. I think in an accident the entire bar would become a missile, guided by the harness right into the back of your head. It is not mounted securely.

That is a great point

OP, no matter how secure it "feels", it is not designed to hold up to the massive forces applied in an accident. No matter how good the harness is, it will not help when the harness bar gets ripped off its mountings. You will die, or worse, live and be crippled.

Taking the chance is just plain retarded. Full roll cage with the harness or stock belts. Those are your safe options.

The stock belts are still there and useable. I just feel far more secure with the harness. There will be no accidents. I have had just two majors both probably
before you were born. Neither were my fault. And I will not have another. Trust me on that. On a motorcycle is another story and I don't ride as I did years ago. My shinny side will remain up and my dirty side shall always remain down. Nonetheless, your comments are appreciated and noted. Us
retards shall always survive, my friend. LOL.

4 point with a breakaway. You don't need the breakaway with a 5 point

And if by some unfortunate happenstance, my number comes up and I surfer the consequences, you guys will be the first that I will surely say, "you told me so"! Fair enough??:tiphat:

Ummmmmmmmmm... So... Your car is never leaving your garage? Noted.

What I'm saying is that while the Amuse bar is beautiful, in any sort of accident, you're going to wish you didn't have that thing. It's held in by the OEM mounts and is held in with OEM hardware. And the bar itself is held on the it's mounts WITH HOSE CLAMPS... Oh, and the bar is made out of really thin titanium... So it's going to crumple like the titanium can it is.

One, you don't get to pick when you have accidents. It's not always in your control.

And you have no idea when I was born, so you're talking out your ***. If you're older than I am, you're in your 40s and have no right to be as dumb as your actions seem to suggest.

And any passenger with you is at risk too, since that bar will likely take them out too. It's a sweet piece, it's just for show.

It's not thin titanium, it's reinforced because of the harness bolts. The bar is bolted in. No hose claps allowed! I will be safe. I promise that you will not have to either attend my funeral or visit me in the hospital, ok? LOL Peace out, my Z Brother. I am going home. :hello:

No, I wish I were still in my 40's, if only. I am old enough to be your granddad! My actions are result of being a track racer and far more, my friend. When you are my age, every day is a chance and you take them as they come. :tiphat:

Ummmmmm... It's thin as shít titanium...

That outer titanium uses hose clamps to hold the end pieces...

The end pieces use the OEMS mounts that hold the OEMS bars in...

There is no debate here. Those are the facts...

If you're saying your old enough that you don't give a **** that you die in your car because of your harness bar; no problem. Props to you.

Saying you WON'T get into an accident because you won't let it happen... Full retard :icon14:

Welp, good luck with all that. Don't allow any passengers in your car. That would be negligent and they would have a serious case against you. Or your estate. Unsubscribing.
