Daedalus custom headlights!!!!!

Just wanted to share some pics since I just picked up my headlights from cliff. To say I'm happy is an understatement. The carbon is hydro dipped. It turned out way better than anticipated. Look at the silver in the carbon and how it shines. Cliff did all this for far less than his competitors and he gave me a few small upgrades here and there for no additional charge. He rocks!

Aviator44 09-10-2014 10:34 PM

Bitchin!

nomodsjk 09-10-2014 10:36 PM

Thanks brother! My favorite picture is number 2 you can really see the silver in the carbon. It really pops

They are literally perfect for your car. I've seen a lot of retrofit headlights and those are by far the best I've seen for the Z.

nomodsjk 09-10-2014 10:45 PM

Thank you. It was my idea to do them that way but obviously cliff did all the work so I will pass on the compliment.

nomodsjk 09-10-2014 10:47 PM

The LED's are so bright its ridiculous! This is the first set of custom headlights I've ever had and I'm so freaking excited to get them installed!

cooltoy 09-10-2014 10:58 PM

So the car been with out headlights all this time, while in transit?

axmea? 09-10-2014 11:06 PM

No I bought a new set because I daily drive it when its not in Los Angeles getting a ridiculous amount of work done to it

nomodsjk 09-10-2014 11:09 PM

I have to ship them to Lohit tomorrow. We're doing it that way so we don't have to remove the carbon amuse bumper before nationals. The car had to be shipped to him before the headlights were completed

MicntaeG35 09-10-2014 11:20 PM

I want these!!! :yum:

What are you going to do with the second set? Hint hint, nudge nudge.

zmanelite 09-11-2014 12:11 AM

Where is he located and if ya don't mind how much ?

Toasty 09-11-2014 12:29 AM

Where is he located? Ive been trying to get some black housings for god knows how long. Im curious because you're from WV too.

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 06:44 AM

He's located in silver spring Maryland. I'm selling the OEM's. Let me break down cost for you guys. New headlights from amazon 850$ ballasts off eBay 200$ wiring harnesses 100$ Phillips hid's 100$ all the work cliff did 725$ hydro dipping shrouds and boomerangs 200$ grand total 2175$ but you don't have to go as far as I did. There are many different options to choose from. I decided to buy new headlights and supporting hardware because I didn't want to leave my car down there for a week. Also I figured if I bought everything new I could sell my OEM's to offset some cost. If you want to look him up he has a Facebook page just search for Daedalus. He's a great guy who won't try to sell you on an expensive set up and he does amazing work. Also has a really sick lotus Elise and a g37. Both are eye candy. Hit him up!

madwi 09-11-2014 07:41 AM

Very nice!

cooltoy 09-11-2014 07:51 AM

Dibs on your OEM.

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 08:39 AM

No problem Mr toy! I'll let you know as soon they're ready

pfdaxe 09-11-2014 08:59 AM

Well done. They look fantastic!

cooltoy 09-11-2014 09:08 AM

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 09:21 AM

For anyone who isn't local he can and will ship if you're willing to either remove yours or buy new ones and ship. You can always then sell your original lights to offset the cost like I did. He actually did a set for a guy in Canada and nothing was damaged in transit. You will not be disappointed in any way I assure you! Cliff is an amazing human being!

cooltoy 09-11-2014 09:27 AM

Does he have a website? Examples of work (other then yours).

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 09:29 AM

No website only Facebook and yes there are plenty of examples. He does any make and model lights. He has a g37 and a lotus elise

Mbreese 09-11-2014 09:38 AM

Very Nice ! Can't wait to see them at Nats

cooltoy 09-11-2014 09:42 AM

Found the page. Thanks.

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 10:37 AM

No problem!

waffle riot 09-11-2014 11:05 AM

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 11:08 AM

Yea they look worth it lol. So it takes about a week?

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 11:29 AM

Maybe. I can't guarantee that because it will completely depend on what you want done and how busy he is. This is a part time job that he does after he gets home from his full time job and on the weekends. So it really just depends. But it's worth every penny and the wait.

aszyd 09-11-2014 12:01 PM

I've seen videos of hydro dipping random stuff. It's a cool process. Really impressed that it was used on the bezels. The lights look great!

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 12:02 PM

Thank you sir! This is the first thing I've ever had hydro-diped and I love it!

Toasty 09-11-2014 12:03 PM

Hmm how much are you selling your old ones for?

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 01:36 PM

Cooltoy already asked me for them but if you look in the parts for sale section there is a member named kevealteam that has a set for sale but it has a broken tab which I don't think is a big deal but I'm not sure. I believe he is selling his for 450$

Smashley 09-11-2014 03:17 PM

I am local to Cliff and need my headlights done but can't go a week without my car. hmmm

Just hit him up I'm sure he can figure something out for you

Asheth 09-11-2014 08:48 PM

Those look great man

nomodsjk 09-11-2014 09:55 PM

Thank you! I'm really excited about getting my car back! The suspense is killing me

nomodsjk 09-12-2014 10:15 PM

Just shipped them to Los Angeles from the east coast! I'm terrified they will get damaged. If they do there will be nothing I can do about it well not in time for nationals anyway. Let's hope that UPS avoids damaging the over sized box marked fragile! With shipping I'm in 2400$ plus installation so I'd hate to have to burn down a ups store! That was a joke for any dept of homeland security people reading this!
