That's no problem, just leave the top CF, paint the rest.

I am not sure about the holes on the Seibon, I think they also use OEM, but maybe LMBmike can confirm.

Yes the Seibon NSM uses and or covers any existing holes from the sport wing.

I also did the blade in CF and colour matched the support below.

That does look great.

Have any of you swapped in a pre-2015 nismo rear bumper on a pre-2011 non-nismo ?

Wouldn't those be identical?

i'm actually curious how a black support and colored blade would look. Give the illusion that the blade was floating (sorta like GT wings)

if i had $$$ and balls i'd get the Esprit GT wing

You got any plans to fit any DRL into the bumper?

Not anytime soon. I like the black and white contrast right now. Although there are many options out there to make a one-of/custom set, what I have seen from Amazon, Ebay, and theretrofitsource.com look awful. I will wait until the right kind of lights come out.

The blade in carbon, the support painted white.

There is a black one for sale in the classified section, you can paint the bottom part white.

If you can get it for around $700 shipped, it would be a great deal.

There will be a gazillion holes and the duckbill will not cover/use all of these holes. Work will be required to plug what you will not use if you decide to go with the DB spoiler.

Here's how mine came out. Done.

Looking good!!
Do you have any close up pics of your FI exhaust? How many inches are the tips tucked into your Nismo bumper?

It is tucked in there pretty good so it needs a longer tip running about 1.5 to 2 inches (maybe more from the top because of the angle. The strange thing is on BeemaaZ car, his FI exhaust hangs out just right. I don't get why. When I had the regular bumper, it stuck out just the right amount.

GordoNx3o9 04-21-2016 10:02 PM

Did BeemaaZ get his FI exhaust used from a Nismo owner? Maybe that exhaust was originally made for the Nismo bumper. FI suggested that I don't modify my exhaust tips length myself if i go with the Nismo bumper route. Instead they prefer me shipping the mufflers back to them to adjust it.

Hello everyone! I have been off this site for a bit now just been busy with stuff in life going on. Anyways, i am back and trying to get caught up. When i left this thread was like 1 or 2 pages and now its so long that i am having trouble finding the exact information i am looking for. Basically i have a 2009 sport touring 370z, i want to find a way to get this bumper on my car along with side skirts and rear. What all is required? Can i order from nissan or is there a better place to order from? Thank you in advanced and sorry i couldn't find searching this thread.

In my opinion you do not require any thing that is not already on the car to install this - just the bumpers and the tow cover.

Fortunately, I was hooked up with a employee discount as well from Nissan via a relative, however, I was speaking with the parts dealer at my local dealership and they mentioned that shop/store owners apparently receive some sort of discount... You can try going to a auto body shop and see if they can order the parts for you at a discounted price. Worth a shot, good luck.

It looks like it has everything but the LED's and emblems.

Post 734 (PG 49) has a complete list for the front. The skirts will run $900 and the rear bumper will be at $350 plus the tow hook cover that's about $5. Shipping will run you high if you don't have a local dealership. I say ask your local dealer to match Fontana Nissan's price.

lol I know what you want to look at........

"Mind the gap"

Now these are not "my best photos" or even ones I have posted so quality/angle/overall pic so they might not be the best but just trying to help show what you are looking for, that gap/shelf/ledge or lack of it (many people have called it different things, either way transition is not seamless but you don't notice it)......:ugh2:

I think the saving grace is I am fairly low so in order to see the "shelf affect" you need to either be really short or crouch down uncomfortably low.
