Also, the main issue is the Steering wheel, the only reason I want the Touring is because Nissan are very stupid about it and putting the Nav/Tech package only there....
So I thought to go with the base and put an after market Nav and Tech system (Bluetooth, sound system, parking cameras and sensors) but I dont want it to look fake or cheap... I want it to fit and look like the original Touring Nav system, is this possible?

thats cool I don't really need seat warmers and power as well... how many times you really move the chair in this small compartment ?!:)

Indeed looks good, and can save a lot of money too.

So, back to the main issue, how can I find out if its real or not, any one here know someone that actually checked it?
I saw this Post:

But not sure what all that means?

Hmm... I'm sure someone would enjoy trading their base seats and door panels for leather for free.

Didn't someone on here figure out it wasn't even real leather?

What's wrong with leather? If you're afraid it will get too hot in the summer, just get a sun shade.

He indicated ethical issues.

You found the post I wanted to post. It means the interior is fake leather.

In any case, up to you, if you want a swap done, I can set one up for you.

If its an ethical issue where's the morals of buying the car in leather and throwing the leather in the garbage. If you are going to purchase the car with leather on it isn't it more repsectful to the animal to use the leather?

You would have to contact DCTMS for a breakdown of their process, but I very much doubt that they would just wrap the new fabric over the old fabric. It is quite expensive, but for a simple re-wrap, not $1000. There is currently an auction on eBay for a wheel re-wrapped in the Nismo style, alcantara sides, leather top and bottom, with a red center stripe, and it is going for $600. My assumption is that a rewrap to all one material would be close to that price. It does replace the entire wheel though. DCTMS will wrap a wheel that they have in stock and then expect you to send your old wheel back, once you put the new one on the car.
