I think it is somewhat looser, but it's not like anyone is going to use it to secure a pen. Probably fine for items larger then a....... pen.;)

No KC, not as ghetto as tying your kitten in your trunk ;)

And if you're maybe wondering what type of box I use? Costco have a variety of boxes, just pick one that suits your needs.

Edit: :roflpuke2:

Snap-on 21 in. Car Trunk Tool Organizer-870116 at The Home Depot

this is snap-on.. you know, aka high quality like how them nismo boyz boasts
about their special nismo's. not just any cargo box, a SNAP-ON cargo box. :ugh2:

snap-on box > regular box

onzedge 07-29-2014 06:05 PM

Yes. It did not hold a body securely while I was cornering hard.

This one is about $20 less 8-Way Folding Trunk Organizer with Waterproof Thermal Carrier

Also come in cheetah prints if that's your thing. I prefer my trunk organizer free and recyclable (while I'm killing the environment in my sport car )

I hate when that happens.

I was really interested in hearing more about the dead cat option?

Hey, has anyone bought one of these? Any comments on quality? Genuine Nissan Part # 999C2-ZV000

2009 2014 Nissan 370Z Trunk Collapsible Portable Cargo Storage Organizer New | eBay

JARblue 08-18-2014 08:26 AM

I have the collapsible cargo organizer. It secures very well to the car and holds most objects without any worry. There's no top, so taller items can topple out of it under more "enthusiastic" driving. A 6 pack of beer fits perfect in the compartments

I would consider the quality just 'ok' at MSRP. But for ~$35 I was very pleased with the quality.
