Body Kit install and Paint
Does this sound right in price? I called a body kit shop that does a ton of high end vechiles in sac called TNT Auto Body - couldn't find any bad reviews. I was told $700 to paint and install a full Amuse 370z Vestito aero kit and if I didn't like how it looked they would refund me my money.... Sounds way too low for me. So I went to there shop and I saw tons of GT-R's, High end M's, and other expensive cars.

That is very cheap.

It is cheap. Unless they figured out a way to pay their employees nothing. I paid $700 for my Stillen fascia alone that included prep and paint. Most of the time you get what you pay for.
Just remember that just because they have high-end cars on the lot doesn't mean they'll treat your as such. Those guys are getting charged much, much more than you are for a lot less. Just saying. But if they said they'd refund the money if you didn't like it then I see almost no harm in letting them try. Just don't expect perfection. |
Its cheap, bring your own rotary to make matt go shiney..

700 for painting is reasonable, but include putting on is cheap, that should be around 200$ more. Plus fixing fitting will cost more than 400-500.
Be carefull on the paint, i bring it to a shop that do aftermarket part, they will treat your car like  (i think most of shop like that, unless that is a luxury shop that have lambo :bowrofl:). Luckily they allow me to stay while they work, so i give them a hand and i prevent them from scratch my car paint :bowrofl::bowrofl::bowrofl:. If it is authentic amuse (1500$ ++) you dont need to do anything, just snap in and paint it. mine is rep (700$) so we have to fix FRP, cost 200$, plus 350$. The paint is not good as i expected, but anyway the nissan 370z factory paint is already bad, so i got nothing to comment :roflpuke2::roflpuke2: |
It is an Authentic Amuse I just ordered it $3800 my bday to myself lol.
|
I would not put $700 paint job on my $4000 amuse kit if I were you

If you are willing to travel to San Jose, I know a good shop down here. TNT Autobody is a reputable place - I know they did a lot of work on Calvin's Z ( http://www.the370z.com/members-370z-...z-journal.html) but from what I've heard they no longer do much aftermarket work? I may be wrong on this but you should try to find some eastbay locals to vouch for them.

TNT Auto Body - Sacramento, CA | Yelp
4.5/5 stars on yelp, and their previous customer comments seems pretty confident about this shop. If they offered you a satisfaction guarantee or full refund, I don't see why not, make sure get that on writing or recorded in case **** happens. |
he gave it to me in writing and signed a contract about if I don't like it he will refund my money, so I'ma give them a shot. Also he signed the part if I don't like it he will be me a new Amuse body kit. SOOO I think i can trust them. Thanks!
