I have never had fenders rolled or pulled. I was looking into rolling and possibly pulling my front fenders. I was wondering if there were any downsides to rolling fenders? How far out can you pull a fender? Will this destroy my fender paint, causing me to need repainting? How much does this cost for 2 wheel wells? Where can I go to have this done? Anything else I should know before going into this?

The reason that I am considering this is because the Wedssport's that I have are 19x9.5+24 275 / 19x10.5+24 305. The Rears are a perfect fit with 305's. The Fronts stick out about 10-15mm and are rubbing the fender at stock ride height. I noticed this when I went to put Swift lowering springs and Nismo struts on last weekend, which will only make the situation worse. I did a good amount of research before buying these, everybody and their sister runs +20-25 offset 9.5 wheels in the front. When i had 245's they fit well, with 275's (want to keep 275's) they stick out. The proper offset would be ~+40 for the front with 275's, after research using offset calculator's and talking with a couple wheel companies. I like the wheels and think that rolling/pulling the fenders will look nice, plus I would rather not spend the money on another set of wheels. Below I posted a link to the wheel fitment thread, where everyone has +20-25 offset and 2 pictures of how my front wheels fit currently. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i personally just get wheels that fit correctly, but ive seen locals use a wooden bat and a heat gun to roll their stanced cars perfectly.

they just heated the fender and tapped at the metal to roll it inward first, then tap some more to push out just a hair if they needed a tad more clearance. the trickiest part appeared how well the push outward would flow with the arch on the front bumper...without breaking the tabs. if they ooops... zipties...:ugh2:

Lol I'm running 19x9.5 +20 / 275 in PSS which are wider that most other in the same size. I'm also dropped on Swifts.

I rolled my fender using a wooden bat and heat gun. The hardest part is the corner of the fender where it meets the bumper...trying to get it straight with the rest of the fender. Other than that, you'll have to relocate the bumper tab as well. I'd just drill a hole and use zip tie.

check out wheel shops in your area, the procedure is not that complicated but its slightly confusing the first time you do it. just make sure they have previous experience via past work or something so that they take extra care to not crack/chip your paint.

we would normally charge about $100 for a pair of fenders, so around that price range is not too bad, good luck!!!

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm going to triple check my wheel offset measurements tonight and contact a few wheel companies to see if I can get a set for a decent price. If not, I'll try to find a wheel place that does it. In Michigan the box stores are extremely abundant. I don't know of any specialty wheel stores but I'll have to look around.

Really considering putting on some weds myself and I like your mindset about wide wheels and meaty tires, but I too plan on lowering the ride however on coils but is there any way you could throw up a few angles/pics of your car so I can see your wheel set up?

What I found out after taking the wheels off and measuring them was that they have the +15 offset, not the +24 that the seller told me. I won't buy another set of used wheels: end rant.

+15 fits great in the back and would fit fine in the front with more camber but i drive 30k miles / year so no camber for me...
19x9.5+24 in the front and 19x11+15 in the rear would be perfect for the SA55M's, or anything else for that matter.
+15 in the front was fine with 245's and no camber but 275's are too much.

I am at the stock ride height. I noticed the damage when I took the FR wheel off to put swift springs on and realized it would only get much worse. I am having the fenders rolled and pulled this weekend. Repainted next week because the paint was cracked from being hit. I found a very experienced shop to roll and pull them, that I was referred to by 3 different people. I have reached out to a few different wheel companies about getting wheels made in the offsets I want and will order those in a few months. Having the fenders pulled will hopefully help me fit 285's in the front when I'm lowered so I don't mind.

Zteven, I made a build thread and there is a pretty good shot of my wheel set up in there. I will put the build thread in my signature.

That is a decent amount of poke in the front. I'll be interested to see how things turn out after the roll.

Been kicking around the idea of going 265/305 myself. My fronts are +24 so I guess I may be alright..will be slightly lowering on RS-R springs too.

The beauty of the 370z is that it does not have a lip on the rear arches.

I would think with +24 you could run 275 in the front without issue at stock ride height. 265 should be super safe in the stock fender. I plan to buy new wheels next year so I can run 285 in the front on swift springs. Having the fenders rolled and pulled will give me a little breathing room.

I was suppose to have them rolled and pulled by a shop last weekend. They canceled on me at the last minute so now I am having it done next weekend. I will post pictures of it when it is done. They said they can typically do it without damaging paint, which would be ideal.

I found that they are +15 wheels, after measuring them, and the seller told me they were the +24 wheels

There's your problem..... Way too aggressive for stock fenders and 275's.

I was at 9.5"/+20 on Swifts and 275 PSS and it rubbed the crap out of my liner and bumper tab. I rolled the fender and it was better but still rubbed the bumper tab. I've since swapped over to 265 S-04 and it's much better...still occasionally hear a tiny rub on the bumper tab on big dips..but nothing I worry about anymore.

Sorry for taking so long on the update. I had my front fenders rolled and pulled ~10mm. I've driven ~3,000 miles and the tire only rubs a tiny bit on very hard corners. Other than that, the rubbing seems to be fixed. It was done at a local shop and they had the proper tool. They charged me $55. The paint was not damaged and it turned out as good as I could have hoped.

I am trying to get newer struts since I am at 70,000 miles now. Once I get those, I am going to put them on with the Swift springs that I have. Then I will probably go back to have the fronts pulled a little more since I would assume the rubbing will come back when I am lowered. I will post pictures of the current state later tonight.

If you go lower, you will have to either relocate/cut/bent the bumper tab/mount since it'll rub big time even if you add ridiculous amount of camber. Nissan did not consider that part when they made this car but they sure did for the rears.

I have heard about the bumper tab from others who have lowered their car so I am anticipating it but will tackle that hurdle when it comes. I will update the thread again in a month or so once it is lowered and rolled again.
