Brand new for 2009! Made from stainless steel and forged aluminum. Whether you're attending your local track day, auto cross, or racing competition the GT Motoring tow hook is up to the task. The base, mount, and hardware are all stainless steel making it both strong and durable out in the elements. The regulation size tow loop is machined from forged aluminum.

I did, it doesn't say anything about what it does, it only says it's "up to track use" & what it's made of.

when your on the track you are required to have your tow hook installed at all times so they can drag your mistake off the track.

This is exactly why this is a screw on/off tow hook. It can be removed easily after a track day if desired. :tup:
