My logic? I was more curious as to whether anyone had done it before and what the finish looked like as opposed to getting the approval of the forum as to whether I should do it or not...:tiphat:

Picked up my Nismo skirts and bumper last night from body shop. Looking to put some kind of chip guard on the underside of skirts, wondering if anyone has used any type of spray bedliner for this. Seems like it would durable, easy to apply. I used a chip guard tape on the underside of my rear spats and that seems to be holding up well after 6 months of driving.

Opinions?

your original post asked for opinions...

Wonder if plastidip would work? I've never worked with it so i am not sure of durability.

I would ask Mr. Kenchan that question. He is a huge Plasti-dip fan.

I quit believing in Karma a long time ago, you're going to have to do better than that...

Sorry. My Karma ran over your Dogma.

Decided to do the skirts on the bottom with Duplicolor's Bed Liner, not the Armor Liner - I'm happy with the end result.

Wow, that's nice! How many coats? I plan to fix my carbon fiber lip and paint parts of it as well. I've already patched up a hole after a chunk broke off. I temporarily sprayed it matte black. It's still salvageable.

3 coats, 5 minutes in between coats. I used maybe a little over 1/2 can to do it.

That looks nice...could do the front lip of the Nismo bumper to add some color contrast and protection. It's always good to have options...my mom told me that! :p
