Part that holds door open

Anybody know where I could get the part that holds the driver and passenger door open? My car had the stupid lambo hinges on it when I got it, and I found oem hinges, just need the detent rods. Or anyone have a part number for it?

Is it Part # 80430/80431 in this link? Note the 80430/80431 is the beginning of the Nissan part number, but the part after the hyphen is just made up by Courtesy Parts.

Actually, after looking at my car, I don't think that's the correct piece. There's a black rod that mounts to the car frame that I can't seem to locate on their parts list.

That looks like it to me.

If you have trouble locating a part on Courtesy's site (or elsewhere), the FSM will usually have the info you need. If it doesn't have a part number, it will at least tell you the "proper" name of the part and you can search the Web for that. Great resource if you plan on doing any work on your Z.

:iagree:

I have a good portion of the FSM printed and have written down several part numbers next to the part in the diagram legends

dang, thought this was a detailing question where i'd stuff a towel in the door jam to keep the door slighty open while i RO the panel entirely.. :icon17:
