Were are they having the paint mixed at?

What kind of paint are they using? Shitty brand/economy paint are a crapshoot from the mixing machine...then the mixer would have to adjust it manually which I guess your paint shop still couldn't do.

they were going to mix it in shop ...but said its going to be difficult to match. not sure what kind of paint ?

Sounds like incompetent shops...

Most shops computer match based on paint code... no 'mixing' required as the computer tells them exactly what they need....
Go somewhere more professional. I had my NAG Black Rose painted three times no issues. And that was over a 4 year period from first match till last months paint match...

Where in jersey are you? If you haven't "committed" to that shop yet let me know. I know this good shop in north jersey where they painted my car after an accident, you can't tell it was ever in accident or painted.

I had a dent removed and painted. Guy at the shop said it was easy so I don't know what to tell you. Good luck!
