Aaand I scratched it. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Pulled out of advance auto parts and the dip between the driveway and the street was a bit deeper than anticipated.
:shakes head:
I got some minor road rash under the front lip on the left and right sides. You can't see anything at all but damnit I felt it when I ran my hand underneath to see how bad it was.
:crying:

Trying to resist the urge to buy whatever plastic part I scratched... My poor baby!
Can't believe I did that after being so careful with parking it (i.e. the complete lack of visibility and yet-to-be-mastered feel for the size of the car has kept me cautious, resulting in numerous instances where I park, get out and check space left, and move up a bit more lol)

For such a small car, it's almost impossible to know where all of the corners are. I've got some curb rash (mostly previous owners but some from me too) that I'm going to get fixed before too much longer. That and the crap paint on the front bumper...:shakes head:

the only way to keep her perfect is to never drive.. and that would just blow. You popped her cherry... gotta happen sooner or later. :) it sucks.. but .. that's just how it goes.

The feels, bro... all the feels... At least you don't have a dented hood. I'm in the process of getting mine fixed up. I'm still getting over that. That plastic part is like $150 from Nissan, I've already looked into getting mine replaced.

Coming from driving an RSX Type-S it was a big adjustment as far as size. I was able to fit that car through spaces with inches on each side with no problem. No way in hell I'm going to try it with the Nismo though.

I've done it too. Touch up paint should suffice -- if it's that low on the side skirt it will not be noticeable.

Only gets worse once you're lowered :icon14:

I still clench my buttocks when I am leaving a steep driveway but have mastered the art of angling to prevent scraping :icon17:

I feel your pain, I backed out of my drive but the dip is pretty grim. I scrapped the lower right corner of my front bumper. I went under to check and I scrapped the paint off. WTF!

F**** floor control ditches and rains, I'd rather my house flood !

At least it's not noticable. But look at it this way: that particular sort of scrape is going to be inevitable.

Luciano13 04-28-2014 05:16 PM

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU if you're upset about one scratch......just wait till the summer is over:roflpuke2:
Unless you're not planning to drive your Z any more:bowrofl:
But yes... the first one hurts the most!!!

Total muscle control right there.

Seriously though, once you go even lower, you will feel the pain and learn how to clench your buttocks like Wais.
