Is it just me or do birds love to Crap on my black Z? Seems like everyday I clean it up the next day another one appears. I have 4 cars a silver one, A red one, maroon one, and my black Z. Why do they keep crapping only on the Z? Haters!

I traded my silver Z in on a black one because of all the birdshit. So far I can leave it out in the parking lot all day and no crap. Silver one it would look like Ron Jermey spunked all over it by the end of the day.

Scientific studies show that in fact Red cars attract the most poop.
Also, dont park under trees. That cuts down the odds you get shat on.

Black is the worst color ever invented for showing dirt. If a gnat steps in dogshit and then lands on your car, you'll see his footprint. I should have gotten gunmetal gray, or even white.:rolleyes:

Birds only love black after a fresh wash and wax. If your car is already dirty, they'll leave it alone.

I literally saw a bird **** on my car. I moved the car and threw a rock at the bird. I missed :(

Just ask my wife who has a black Hyundai and parks it in the driveway. Not only do they crap on her car almost daily, they do it in the same spot every time....the driver's door. Go figure! So the answer is absolutely!

Birds have excellent eyesight, especially for movement. I believe they have reasonably good color perception too, so that finding makes sense.

Notwithstanding where you park, birdshit is primarily white, so it will be especially noticeable on a black car.

Lol no trees no wires... Nothing. Today one **** on my passenger door by the door handle. So damn funny, no matter where I park it they aim at it.
This is another good reason to clean my garage.

Anyone with pearl white have a problem with bugs? Just about anything with wings gets on my Z right after I wash it. Nothing attacks my car when it's clean, but as soon as I wash it BAM! I find a couple bugs surrounding it.

The worst problem I had with birds was 12-15 years ago a bunch of cardinals were apparently nesting near my carport/driveway/backdoor. The SOB's loved to look at themselves and preen, so they perched on my outside mirrors and crapped down the sides of my car. They also perched on the step to the back door which had a shiny metal kickplate so they were able to see themselves while they crapped on my backstep.

I covered the kickplate with matching packing tape and eliminated that reflection, but I never found a good solution for my car. Mother Nature solved that problem by sending a tornado through and taking out all the trees in that area. I hope it got those damn cardinals also!

Worked once near a sewage treatment plant, the seagulls would get their fill over there and then hit our cars in the parking lot like Stukas.
