Heres a few pics of my car (montery blue) if anyone is still deciding on a color. I know reading through this forum helped me decide to get the blue, so i'm just returning the favor.

Absolutely agree. I was on the forum since day 1. I have seen thousands of 370Z pictures. But I still had to spend quite some time in the official color threads to decide what color I wanted.

More monterey blue

I've seen 1 Monterrey Blue in person, and its darker than most pictures here, with the exception of these. To my eyes, they are the closest to what Monterrey Blue looks like in the wild.

I realy like this color. So far I think this new 370 looks best in this coolor and white.

I have to say that I would have preferred that they continue with the Daytona Blue from the 350. The second I saw that color, I had to have it. I have never had so many positive comments about the color of a car!

I was initially very disappointed when I saw the change to Monterey Blue. Still, I loved my blue 350 and wanted to continue in that tradition. I have to say that the new blue is growing on me and I'm still glad that I made that color choice. I had been considering the Platinum Graphite as well but there's just something about a blue Z that pops!

Looks very sharp. Great scenery and camera! (Canon EOS Rebel)

Btw, I encourage all Monterey Blue owners to contribute their pictures in this thread. I remember going through this thread twice a day before making my final decision.

P.S. Looking at your sig, that's a big BABY!:icon17:

Thanks, AK! I live in Belmont Shore, which is a great area of coastal Los Angeles. In fact, I'm informally calling mine "Belmont Blue" because it reminds me so much of the ocean.

Good call on the Cannon! These were just some rushed shots the day I got the 370. I'm heading up on road trip with some friends to the Santa Barbara/Solvang area this weekend and intend to bring the camera along for some more interesting pics. I've got a buddy of mine who has a Mustang who will be driving up as well who is also into photography and we are going to try to experiment with some blurring action shots.

LeMans Blue it IS!

Blue is absolutely beautiful in person. Quite frankly, I don't think any of the colors are bad, just up to personal preference.

I really think they misnamed the blue as it is the same color as my 67 vette which was LeMans Blue!!! That car was aching for a racing stripe. I wonder if that is to old school for the Z?

Monterey Feedback

Hey all, just saw the forum and the color debate. Getting great comments on Monterey--brought it in for detailing today (after 1 week--Damned Florida bugs!) and the kid who did it said it was the 1st one he's seen and he took some pics for a collection he keeps. The color does jump at you, glad I made the decision.

Moar pictars!!! I love that blue, seeing it in person is what sold me on getting the 370z, I'm still trying to find one but I know I'll be satisfied with the Monterey Blue, it looks so good in person.
