Bubbles In the Paint

Front and rear bumpers have small bubbles, raised blisters in the paint. Anyone? Pine sap is what one detail shop said, only on the plastic bumpers? Help, I know Nissan will do nothing as the car has 46K miles on it.

Have you had the panels repainted at all?

op- not on mine, but bird crap and sap can do that if not washed.

you'll need to get that repainted.

bumpers are painted at a different plant.. i could be a manufacturing defect.
or i could be some dumbarse sprinkling acid at your car...
or just tree sap, bird crap.

without thinking too deep, get estimates from a bodyshop and see if it make sense to use your insurance.
just fix it and get it over with.
