Fiberglass body kit, i need some info

i know most if not all body kits are made of fiberglass "reinforced plastic", im going to make my own parts, but idk how to work in the plastic part of it, did my searches and couldnt find anything, so im thinking of just doing an all fiberglass part, would that be ok?
