what kind of carbon fiber Wrap is this ??
Currently i am waiting for the amuse kit to come, all of them is made of CF with twill pattern :happydance:
shine CF front bumper shine CF rear bumper seibon carbon fiber hood . That 3 parts is all i can afford, for now. Sound carbon enough :happydance:. tomorrow i will wrap 2 doors with 3M 1080 carbon fiber wrap (there is a company in town distribute it for around 70$ 60"x1yard ) . After doing several research , i got confused with type of carbon wrap they post the picture There is MOSTLY 2 brands of carbon wrap :3M dinoc and 3M 1080(i c on youtube they wrap lambo and mc laren with 3M :roflpuke2:) what kind of this glossy carbon wrap ? it look so glossy and amazing http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/...30109834_o.jpg is this actutally 70$ 3M wrap on hundred grand car ? http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-20...2-1280x960.jpg what kind of techinque to obtain this look ? http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-20...t-1280x960.jpg Iam pretty think this is the actually real CF from shineauto project, not the wrap one, just correct if im wrong http://i1110.photobucket.com/albums/...0/IMG_7252.jpg I just think that after installing the 3M carbon fiber wrap, they add an extra clear vinyl wrap to make it look shining, or maybe a clear coat..3M 1080 series can not shine bright light that..what do you guy think ? |
What wrap are you talking about?
Also don't carbon fiber wrap. |
its not wrapped, its just a thicker pattern of carbon fiber thats all, and what he said ^^^^^^^ don't carbon wrap that **** looks ugly.

The Aston Martin One-77 you posted have the actual carbon fiber panels and were sold a lot higher than it's actual price. It's a special edition, or something like that.
Also, you might as well just buy the CF panels instead of wrapping them. |
Where are you getting your info on cars like McClaren and Lambo using "CF " wrap?
This is not true.THe major purpose on these and other supercars is the strength and especially the lightness of CF.Thats real carbon fiber on the Aston in your pic.Carbon Fiber comes in several sizes of twills or,patterns.Usually the twill size will grow with the size of the item.Small pieces like switch panels, knobs etc do not use a twill but more of a "dot" pattern. Personally,I hate any kind of "CF" wrap. Its just a picture of real CF like a Formica counter top.For some time, the CF wraps have been in more of a semi-gloss finish. There are now being sold in a gloss finish to replicate a clear coat that is used on real carbon fiber. However, these wraps still don't give the depth of the real stuff. Its fake. |
op- i think that's real cf in the pict. mostly for lightness and wow factor. but honestly that looks like crap to me to do the entire car. i'd paint most of it and let some CF stand out as accent.
im not sure youd want to wrap your entire Z with DiNoc either. looks even more tacky. i only use it sparingly on my interior. |
That's not the One-77, it's a DBS modded by Mansory. It's not a wrap either.
