Who has Hood Struts with their CF Hood?

I'd love to know what you use and if it has affected your CF hood at all. I know they can open rather forcefully and I don't want to risk cracking or damaging anything.

It is time for the oem prop to go...it's ugly and gets in the way.

Look forward to hearing what you guys are using!

-Cheers

Unless you buy a dry carbon hood, it's very likely that the aftermarket hood weighs more than the OEM aluminum hood.

Seibon TS hood with z1 hood struts, works fine.

I owned the Z1 struts but never installed them and have been looking at the B2 designs hood struts in the CF finish.

I watched a Z open with a set the other day and it was extremely fast. Forgot to ask what kind they were. It Kinda shocked me a bit.

If those B2 ones are the same CF ones that theZStore sells, they fit like crap. I bought a set from the ZStore and immediately turned around and bought the Z1 ones.

I couldn't find any hood strut for the 370 on thezstore site, so i'm not sure.

My hood is a little less than 5 lbs. lighter than the OEM hood.
