evo r or aerojacket duckbill

i like the way both looks but cant decide which one to get. i already have the stock sport spoiler, not sure if i should go for a completely different look and jump on the evor high wing or just stay with the similar look of the sport spoiler aerojacket duckbill? which one would you choose and why?

Do what I did, CS add-on spoiler.

My 2 cents: Go with the Aero Jacket type 3. I've heard of some people having issues with EVO-R fitment and quality.

fairlady_z34 02-18-2014 02:11 PM

Kaienz34 where did you get that? would like to know more info. looks pretty sweet

Sorry CS=Carbon Signal they are correct.

Riptide67 02-18-2014 05:25 PM

The only bad thing about CS is the wait time and the shipping expense. other than that, they are pretty win!

2 weeks isint that bad, for spoiler our shipping 190$ (subsidized slightly) but then quality comes at a price

I think the high wing needs some supporting aero pieces to make it flow. When I looked into buying one, it led me to research rear diffusers, side blades, wheels, etc. In the end I didn't think that setup looked better or worse than a lowered stock Z with spacers, just different, but would've cost much more.

I have the duckbill, and I think it works well with a mostly-stock exterior:

That matter is commonly known as rock (with moss).

I voted duckbill. It flows well and forms a nice semi-circle (bigger booty)

OP if you are interested there is a groupbuy going on!

umm is that 2 holes left in the rear hatch after fitting the aerojacket?? is that normal?

DatsunFTW 10-19-2014 04:53 PM

Two holes were from Aerojacket's Type I GT wing I had previously

Do you need to remove your OEM spoiler with the duckbill?

yes, it is a full replacement. Uses the 2 holes for the stock spolier and 2 more on the ends.

Aerojacket also makes a duckbill addon ( Type M i think?) that attaches to the sport spoiler that gives it a duckbill appearance.

I love mine, and sets off the rear (CF one). Some people call it a whale tail since its kinda big, but they are just jealous.

evil370z 04-07-2015 09:15 AM

hey, this is the areojacket type 3 duckbill right ? carbon fiber ?

He had a different spoiler on previously (aftermarket). From what I gathered, the duckbill should cover all holes left by our oem spoiler. You may also need to add two more holes, one on each end to close up the gap due to the curvaceous booty :yum:

DatsunFTW 05-07-2015 12:24 PM

That's right. I had the Type I wing from aerojacket previously. I did not have to money to fill those holes in and repaint the trunk but I barely notice them anyway

Zbrah 05-07-2015 12:27 PM

Bullet holes are "cool" around my part bro

DatsunFTW 05-07-2015 12:29 PM

hahaha I plan on having some panels repainted after Zdayz and in the meantime have the hood cut out for the carbon signal vents. I may have them take care of the trunk. We will see
