Fender Trim
So I noticed something about the last NIMSO Z photos that Nissan released last year and I've been wondering if anybody knows anything about the fender trim that this car has...
2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo Photo 2 12935 I was thinking about trying something like this: Black Carbon Fiber Wheel Well Fender Trim Molding DIY Kit 5 8" Wide Universal | eBay But I don't want it to look cheap. Thoughts and/or suggestions? |
The first link you posted is a product made by J-next, Sim has them on his Z check it out.

I think the J-Next fender trim looks nice, especially on a black Z.
You can also check out Central 20 F&R fender trim |
hey man.... definitely do not do the carbon fiber e bay ones.... don't worry i thought about it the first time as well :roflpuke2: but there is definitely no way in hell making that **** look clean hahaha.... you have two options... as they were mentioned before... the jnext fender trims or the central 20's the central 20's are thicker.... in height the jnexts are only about 1/2 to 3/4.... the central 20's are like 1.5 to 2 inches.... big difference.... here is a more recent and full shot of my z still sporting my jnext's..... they are a subtle touch and i love them very much i think it completed the look for my z...

Amazing how a hood, decal, new rims, mirrors, painted door handles can really change the look of a car ;)

Those will make your car LOOK cheap.Don't do it. Also,by doing the wheel well arches in a dark color,it will make your wheels look smaller/give wheel gap. I'm not a fan of the Amuse style front fender inserts. To me,anything that looks "clipped-on" to a car just does not blend. What are you trying to do?What is the reason for the trim?Give more definition to a part, lower the look etc.? |

The liners are such a great touch! But they are quite pricey.
No ebay ones for me btw. I guess my baby stays the way she is.... |
I don't really get the point of these fender liner things but what I really like about Simota's car is the way the paint extends the lines of the headlights up the fenders.. Very cool touch.

See post #18 for the explanation.
