Anyone know the type of switching in the S-MODE button?

Is this switch a simple on/off (SPST) button? Or maybe circuit1/circuit2 (SPDT)?

I would guess it may just be a momentary. The ecu likely manages whether its on or off, and not the per-se. Total guess though :)

Hrmm, I may have to buy one to check it out, or ask the dealer and I doubt they'd know. Temporary would not do for what I want, the hazard switch is on/off though so I may go that way....

Check the FSM.

It is probably a NO switch that sinks a module pin to ground. Might be momentary and toggles mode.

Id put money on the momentary switch, just like pretty much all the switches on the car having to deal with the ECU/BCM. Less wiring that way.
