license plate led decision

im trying to find the brightest license plate lights for my 370z ...ive bought some from amazon and ebay and jw but there just not bright enough compared to other cars ive seen. they also just have that bland white oem look. ive seen a bunch of 370z with the bluish hint on there license plates lights. I found this website called super bright lights and they have many options. Just dont know which ones to choose.

As another option, you could also try superlumination.com
That's where I buy all my LEDs from. They have good products and customer service.

If you want bright, go with led panels rather than the bulbs. The bulbs might have just as many LEDs, but most are projecting laterally rather than downward and it is too indirect to do much good. With panels, all the light goes downward.

There is a thread on how to crack open the housing and install the panels somewhere here. You can also find replacement light license plate light assemblies that already have the panels in them; I think around $30 versus $5 or so for panels.

^Something like this works. It will be quite bright depending on what choose (number of LEDs).

Ebay or Amazon. Search car led panel. Make sure it includes the connection that plugs into the bulb receptacle.
