A paint job is more more. However now days you have the option to just wrap your car with what ever color you want if the paint gets a bit chipped.

From what I experienced you really don't need full coverage for the hood and fenders. I have partial hood and fenders and my car still looks like it just rolled out of the dealership after over 3 years of ownership. Only cost me $650 for full bumper & headlights, partial hood and fenders and mirrors.

^mind telling me where you went? I'm looking to do the same once i get my front bumper repainted next year.

^I got em done by Aerotect but they're no longer doing clearbras...

I've got Xpel, partial hood and fenders, full bumper and mirrors. I can say they stand behind their product and I've gotten to experience their customer service based on a comment I made on this forum. Their offer to reimburse my installer was completely unsolicited.

In regards to coverage...I've got a rock chip on the hood past the protected part, had less than 700 miles on the car, so full hood may be advisable.

:iagree: on full hood. I have 3 tiny chips past my clear bra.
Also, do the a-pillars... And maybe the front side of the rear fenders... And maybe the leading edge of the roof... lol
