lower engine splash guard

not sure if this should be in this section or not. if not mod please move it.
anyhow, anyone have their lower engine splash guards on? what is the sole pupose of the lower splash guards? is it to keep debris from going into the engine? everytime i do oil change i find it to be a bit of a pain in the rear, i just removed last night after doing an oil change

its basically to deflect everything from smashing into everything its guarding:ugh2:

Since it protects the sump and adds rigidity to the bumper, not having it on is a bad decision.

:iagree:

I highly suggest not removing it as it keeps debris from entering the engine bay

It was designed for a reason. :ugh2:

Not only should you have it on, you should go buy the metal ZSpeed one.
