Final design is done and sending the flares for paint.

The project is getting bigger and better as we have now on onboard Ravspec and car got sponsored by them for wheels.

Shot of the wheels and yes 20" with 9.5" front and 11" back.

http://www.ravspec.com/wp-content/up...e87bc84d_b.jpg

There might be few more companies joining us for sponsoring this car,

Kit is almost done, working on diffuser and front lip, all new CS designs, we surely are very excited. :icon18::icon18:

CarbonSignal 02-26-2014 09:57 PM

Final test fitment of finished product fitment going in for painting.

As a general project update 8 piece fenders are done, products taken out of mould and going for painting. Sides and lip is in work should be done by Saturday. Diffuser is done as well waiting for TIPS (surprise):icon18:

Another good news is fenders can be installed without cutting the OEM fenders but if someone is slamming the car then inner side requires cutting else no need.:tiphat:

There is no price decided yet only after the official launch in two weeks, but people who are running slightly aggressive setups or planning to get send us some proposals, as we (CS & Ravespec) might be looking for some cars in USA to represent us and there is room for some kind of sponsorship.

Mr&Mrs 02-27-2014 06:59 AM

Hmmm sponsor.....I have one gripe the transition from the wide part of the fender into the front bumper. It is so sharp can it not be a smooth transition (like no hard line). Also if it is just an over fender having a body kit should be no problem correct?

KaienZ34 02-27-2014 09:18 AM

Hit me up brotha, I'm running Work GS4's (bought from Mark@RavSpec) 19x9.5+20---19x10.5+0 with a few other CS parts already on my Z.

1 vote for Kaien.

KaienZ34 02-27-2014 09:48 AM

Mine might not be aggressive enough but I can dream.

CarbonFZ 02-27-2014 12:57 PM

my new wheels set up is going to be more aggressive than my current set up should be on tomorrow
heres a pic of how mine curretnly looks for reference.

KaienZ34 02-27-2014 09:45 PM

KaienZ34 02-27-2014 09:48 PM

How much wider are each of the fenders front and rear?

On wide side its wont be much wider, we are looking 20-30mm max as else wheel option goes in a bit of a problem, as of now we wide the track by 23mm front and 28mm at the back but looks wise it looks bigger

There is a possibility as got news might need to do a drift car excellent platform will keep posted the updates here and if any suggestions more then welcome

Which way did they end up?

KaienZ34 02-27-2014 10:13 PM

Went look if the front is just under an inch the rear just over an inch. Worst case I'd have to run small spacers and still be able to run wide-ish tires with minimal neg camber.

SPCLaw370z 02-27-2014 10:37 PM

Im pretty aggressive, 19x10.5 -5 F and 19x11.5 -6 R and I'm most definitely interested in sponsorships. I'm also a photographer so I can take hi-res examples. PM me

CarbonSignal 02-27-2014 10:39 PM

For any proposals please keep it in pms

The kit will widen 1.5" in front and 2" at back more then that very aggressive wheels were needed

Ni55anPat 02-27-2014 10:52 PM

I know you said PM but come on guys. 20x11 20x13 negative offsets right here :p :p

I also have the CS amuse kit. Is be interested in a widebody for that!

wait for the final installed pics you will love it

It should be a problem installing just the fenders on any bodykit thas we covering very little part on front and rear bumper, but will look always better with full kit which is fenders, lip, sides diffuser and spoiler

For all above people lets keep the proposals to pms dont want to flood the thread with pics.

We have decided to offer 5 spots for sponsorship, the sponsorship discount will vary from 100%-40% and people wanting it need to make a proper proposal and send it us with details on what shows car will enter and shoots etc, better exposure more chances of availing the opportunity. We want the whole kit in the beginning to be on the car which is

front lip (1 pc)
Fenders (8 pcs)
Sides (4pcs)
Diffuser (3 pcs)
Spoiler (1 pc)

Can accept some exceptions though, the kit will be available for sale by end month so sponsored cars needed to be ready April time

For a conservative looks wheels needed should have specs in range of 9 -10/10-5 for front and 11 -25/13 -5, people can install spacers to come close to this, more aggressive setup better it will look.

CarbonSignal 03-01-2014 10:20 PM

hmmm, you have me interested. PM sent.

KaienZ34 03-02-2014 12:11 PM

My offsets are far to weak to pull this off, :crying: and I'd need some HUGE spacers more than I'm willing to run. :crying:

I know your wheels are in good shape. If ravspec is partner in this maybe they can sell your wheels and get you into a proper offset setup.

///PureSwank 03-02-2014 12:39 PM

I'm interested. Sponsor me!

Mr&Mrs 03-02-2014 12:43 PM

You have to submit a formal sponsorship application.

GaleForce 03-02-2014 02:27 PM

This is a great deal for someone that will honour their commitments. Shows, photo shoots, etc. Remember, being sponsored is a lot of work.

KaienZ34 03-02-2014 05:52 PM

What's the sizes and offsets of the wheels your test fitting?

;) cough

GaleForce 03-02-2014 06:57 PM

I'm just saying, some people don't understand all the work that goes into being sponsored. It's not just about getting free/cheap parts. Driving to shows, time off work, fuel, hotels, meals, photoshoots, etc. It all adds up. Sponsorships are hard to come by because many people don't follow through with their commitments, then the vendor(s) don't get all the expected exposure. It's tough.

I think it's great that Carbon Signal is offering this for a select few people in our community. Congratulations to the lucky recipients of this partnership.

Yes sir. I have been on both sides of the coin.

I would be all over this especially with the number of shows I am attending this year. The big issue for me is getting wheels in time.

Cant agree more we started supporting the forum last year with our Nismo kits offered to few individuals and one shop as well, experience wasn't great but not bad as well, got some good exposure from two cars here but one hasn't installed or came back to us till now 7 months, and sponsored one car for SEMA for one big shop in California still arguing over shipping payments pictures are very far, most probably they pocket the sponsorship discount.

Anyways we are still up for it and sorting out all the proposals we got so far here and in emails, kind of finalized one car:tup: and more to follow as well, but people really need to be serious in committing and then do offer whats promised maybe as you said it does work out more for the guys in getting the exposure needed for us.

We are running spacers for the time being its 20x9+22 and 20x11+5, as these were the best possible wheels in stock and we didn't have time to wait for new ones.

sfearl1 03-03-2014 08:50 AM

Sorry if this has been posted.. when will final pics be up?

cooltoy 03-03-2014 09:11 AM

I'd guess, when the car is finished.

Mr&Mrs 03-03-2014 10:52 AM

By the pics I would guess by end of this week or next at the latest. Especially if they want sponsored cars ready by April.

DOM_370z 03-03-2014 11:10 AM

PM sent. Thanks :)

370ZNISMO#704 03-03-2014 11:39 AM

Hmmm this looks tempting. I have 20"-10.5 +15 square setup and a 20mm in rear putting it at 10.5 -5 with good poke front and rear. But would love to take the neg camber out and get some meat on.

I'll text you Naj today. Show season is coming soon.
