I've never had that problem at all with Rain-x. I've read that their wiper blades suck wind, but I've never had any problems with the liquid. I also use their washer fluid.

I avoid Rain-X type products like the plague. Sure they work great in the rain for beading water away but after it rains and the car is parked and that water dries its water spot city all over your windshield.

ive not encountered this. my dd's use rain-x on occasion to remove contaminants baked onto the glass since they sit outside 24/7.

here's how i apply rain-x. clean glass using Griot's WindowCleaner and glass MF towel. spray rain-x into paper towel and apply onto glass without touching the seals. apply until the glass is evenly hazy.

then spray distilled water onto the glass, remove haze with glass mf towel.
