I only use the front and rear jacking points with a floor jack.

I've heard a hockey puck works pretty well. Just cut a slot into it and it should come out cheaper than those in the link.

lol its easy lifting stuff but me trying to squeeze something im total weak. i actually broke my fingers when i was in high skool. like one of my fingers is bent to the left and my pinky knuckle nad other nuckle next to it are like crush together

I myself did the same thing when I Installed my hfc's. I used the largest size vise-grips with cardboard on the insides of the jaws to avoind damaging the paint mine were as bent as yours. So cheer up it's an easy fix all you need to do is to muscle it back into place. good luck

Stay away from using those types of bottle jacks there designed for solid frame cars.

Gang,

I took a 2X4 block of wood and cut it to fit my floor jack lift pad. Then I lowered the blade on my table saw and cut a 3/8 inch slot about 1/2 inch deep completely across the top. When placed into the jack lift pad and under the side of the Z, it lifts the car correctly to the height that I want and with no damage to the car. I did that about 7 years ago for My 350Z and I am still using it on the 370. It's cheap and you probably have the materials you need right there at home.

Save yourself some trouble and some money and go to a sporting goods store and buy a pair of hockey puck's. I use them all the time and their only a couple dollars.:tup:

WShade, I can't tell exactly where the front garage jack point is on the drawing. It's not the lower suspention frame that looks like its cast aluminum that tie the front suspention together is it?
The only other point that I think that it is, is a dimple that protrudes down on a sheet metal cover of some sort that is right in front of that suspention frame that I mentioned above. Can you steer me in the right direction? Kind of hard to tell from the picture that is in the service manual.

to get that dent out get a steel bar park close to a thick wall or something like a curb. put your jack on a angle with a price of steel going from the jack to the dent. start jacking the dent should come out

There was a post here a few months ago where a guy said his roommate assured him he know how to jack up the poster's Z...and put a big dent in the driver's side floor pan. Since the damage to your car is neither visible nor structural, don't get so down.

Like, the other day I'm walking back to my car in a market parking lot, and I see this brain-dead bitch just let go of her cart without looking, whereupon it rolls straight for the side of a car. Luckily, I reached the cart before it hit the car. I was ready to give that dumb c##t a word or two, but I just let it go, and avoided maybe getting into trouble.
