Fender/Bumper
1 Attachment(s)
My ride is on coils and i did roll my fenders, but with these wheels they still rub in the area that i circles, where the fender meets the bumper. My wheels have rubbed off the bolts that holds the fender to the bumper. Any of you have this problem? Is there a way i can close the gap and make some type of clamp?

Im having the same exact issue! I even rubbed out my entire fender liners. Just got new liners in yesterday. I raised the car a 1/2 inch so im gonna see how this works. Ill try and see what i can do about closing the same gap this week coming up. ill keep you posted.

Here is an option too if you don't like rubber bands. I've seen this on a couple Subies.

I think i've posted this before, but when I ordered my Amuse bumper, once it got here the body shop basically cut the fiberglass tabs off bumper and glassed in a small piece of metal going up at an angle. The tab on the fender was also bent up to match that angle.
http://i.imgur.com/dGzJd5b.jpg It got me a lot more clearance, but its just a crappy design overall, our tabs are almost on top of the tire, makes it really tough to tuck any kind of tire and still have wheels sitting flush without running extreme strech on the tire. |
