Not sure if they match the lines of the 370 well...

i think it would, every car that i've seen these on looks really nice. like my ITR :D

Scribe 08-06-2009 12:55 PM

I'm curious if this would improve the 1/4 visibility. The mirror is big, but the real problem is the black housing portion that blocks the area between the mirror and the a pillar. You know, where the hole is on this thing. Plus this one looks to sit more flush with the body.

shabarivas 08-06-2009 12:59 PM

Yes your ITR is not as curvey and muscular looking as a Z... those mirrors are for cars with a slender waistline

i guess so, but it shouldn't look bad sicne it looks good on a z33

Nikon FM 08-06-2009 05:25 PM

Hard to say. I think if someone did a photoshop job it would seal the decision.

frost 08-06-2009 05:26 PM

PS needed.

mattjk 08-06-2009 05:31 PM

jdm mirrors, won't work well for our left hand drive cars. convex mirror will be on the wrong side. unless they make lhd mirrors, which I have not seen from that company.

SpawnAeroJohn 08-06-2009 06:14 PM

It deff gives a nice euro touch to it.

lol yeah, that's the only problem i had with them only.
but they still work u just see less

mattjk 08-07-2009 12:15 PM

yeah, i have tiny jdm mirrors on both my corollas, CBY and original trd n2 mirrors and once you get used to it, it is not bad.

Why would anyone want to see less? Form over function? :icon14:

INSURANCE101 08-07-2009 12:42 PM

i say buy M3 mirros

frost 08-07-2009 12:46 PM

Just rip the mirrors off, no one should be going fast enough to be that close to you anyway.

it's just another item for show i guess

Snakebite202 08-08-2009 01:47 PM

Shunya, on an unrelated note...that type r is ******* sick!

Haha. Wait until you get your Z. At the position I've set my seats, my quarter panel windows don't work. :shakes head: So I have to rely on my mirrors to do the job. But that's just me.

Side note: That IS one amazing DC2.

Diversion 08-09-2009 11:25 AM

I wouldn't get the led blinkers because our Z emblems on the side are blinkers.. Usually a car make will opt for fender blinkers OR mirror blinkers, haven't ever seen both.

well i believe i dun need to wait for a Z to understand how blind spot works..
since you've seen my R you should know or should've guessed by now that I'm running on Bride Low Max Buckets with rails on the lowest settings.
my hood pops up so it blocks half of my vision to the front, since i'm a lil asian girl.
Also since I'm riding in buckets I cannot shoulder check at all..
these side mirrors lets me see half of the next lane. but i do okay in them.
the only mirror i use alot is my rear view on with a Broadway extension.
and half of it's view is blocked by my GT spoiler sicne i'm this short lol my friends dun have a problem with this tho.

and once again thanks for commenting on my R :)

tooohip 08-10-2009 10:37 AM

Not sure how you can drive without using mirrors. Glad you live up in Canada and aren't driving round my area! ;-)

Sure come on down, but have someone drive you to the track please! :tiphat:

that wouldn't be necessary, I'm just a girl who drives a car, i'm a girl who knows about her own car and what i can do. so I dun think i need anyone to drive me to a track course.

Snakebite202 08-10-2009 10:57 AM

I just looked at the "old" F1 mirrors and I think those would set the Z off...

cow 08-10-2009 11:03 AM

I don't like the mirrors at all.

i've always wondered how the visibilities are on these compared to the ganadors

nogoodname 08-10-2009 11:09 AM

why get ugly mirrors, the bus size ones on the Z are plenty enough to handle

lol bus size are too big imho

nogoodname 08-10-2009 11:13 AM

gives full coverage though

true that but i dunno i like smaller mirrors :P
i've never had a problem with them in raiden.

nogoodname 08-10-2009 11:23 AM

that's bc ur car is raiden and the Z is subzero, which therefore means the Z is the cooler.
so you need big mirrors to make sure no one hits you or you hit them

so are big mirrors gunna protect me from accidents?

nogoodname 08-10-2009 11:30 AM

things will bounce off it

Snakebite202 08-10-2009 11:37 AM

^ LOL

The visibility on the F1 mirrors isn't too bad (at lease when I rode in an S2000 tat had them it wasn't) - plus they sit out a little farther than the Ganador ones.

ahhh i see, but they're non-powered i guess they're better for track use.

Snakebite202 08-10-2009 11:56 AM

Yeah, sadly most of them are non-powered. I did see that some of them come with LEDs tough so maybe there is a powered version out there somewhere...
