Sill Plate Idea
 

Hello to all. While cleaning the interior a bit today I noticed just how plain the base sill plates are being all black. So my plans are to paint the Z emblem silver.... I think the same silver as the door handles will be nice. Looking close at these Z emblem it looks like they might be seperate than the sill plate?? If so painting will surely be easier. Someone may have already done this so I would like to know if the Z pops off the sill plate... thanks, Darin

I'm not sure if it pops out or not, but I think I've seen some people do what you're describing.

I would just mask it and use silver enamel using plastic model brush. :)
