Seat options

Has anyone compiled a list of aftermarket seats with mount brackets that might fit the 370?

I'm having a rough time trying to pick something out....too many choices on the net, but scarce fitment info.

(I don't mind losing the seat airbags.)

Help!

thanx

Which seat bases are you currently running with your Recaro PPs? Would you buy them again?

Martin's been away for a while now. Probably sold his Z for something else. Maybe an R32 or something.

Darn! I figured it was a long shot since this thread was from almost 10 years ago.

planted technologies makes great ones, also pole positions now come with side mounts

I just want to make sure the overall height of the seat isn't too high with them. I've heard stories saying they sit low and other saying they sit high. Until I actually buy them, there's not really a way to tell.

Recaro Pole Postion or Bride Zeta/Zieg those are my top favourites. Other nice seats are the OEM Nismo Recaro Sportsters. Come in red or black. super nice.

I wouldn't mind throwing in some Nismo Sportster CS's if the seat base wasn't so weak. It doesn't have a typical CS seat base which is much more aggressive than the one found in these cars. If you look at the Juke Nismo seats, they are like the typical CS's with aggressive base bolstering. Its too bad they don't fit up in these cars without a ton of custom work.

My experience with the Sparco seats, follow the link: http://www.the370z.com/exterior-inte...ghlight=sparco

I am very happy with the results. I am 6'3" and have no trouble with seating position on street or track.

I don't think there is any custom work... Freshhkiicks on YouTube puts the Juke RS seats in all his Z and G cars. Also I follow a bunch of dudes on Instagram with the seats they all said super easy install.

Here are my Jukes. Fortunately, I didn't have to do any modifications, they came modified already.

Really? Every forum and person I've talked to said the Juke seat bases are not compatible with the Z. It requires custom fab work to hack up some stock seat bases, and use them on the Juke ones. If they were close to a direct bolt on, I'd have some by now :rofl2:

Lucky bastard ;) how much were they if you don't mind me asking? I've seen stock Juke seats for sale around the $2k mark, but the custom work I'm guessing would run a couple hundred on top of that.

These were basically brand new. They were 3k modified. If there's any downfall, they do sit high which works out fine for me because I'm short. Not for a tall person.
