Forgot something

I just installed my oil cooler and as a novice mechanic, I thought it went very well. I had some problems with getting the parts from the manufacturer but ultimately it worked out and everything went back together nice... EXCEPT I FORGOT TO PUT THE STYROFOAM BUMPER THING BACK IN:mad: I noticed it after the fact but really don't feel like taking the front off again until perhaps the next oil change. Aside from the fact that i am an idiot, any problem with running it like this??? Please be kind... Tom

You save a few ounces in weight?

Whatever you do, don't crash.

Wow. Hope no one hits you. Those blocks can be the difference between $0.00 and a couple of thousand bucks.

Yeah, I know it was a rookie mistake but the more I think about it... I guess I'll put it back on later in the week. Fortunately, it's my weekend car and will sit in the garage till then anyway. Thanks for the feedback.

So glad the guys were gentle;)

ZGirl, I'm still waiting for bad stuff. I'm typically very thorough, I do quite a lot of work on my motorcycles but for whatever reason???

Hate it when that happens. Installed intakes this weekend and reinstalled the strut tower brace to realize I had put the brace over the weatherstripping.

I'd take a big breath and get the foam back in.

Well it was driving me nuts so I took off the push pins on top, took off the two screws under the fender and it dropped back enough to slip the foam in - took 10min. All that heartache for nothing and I feel much better knowing its right. Thanks for the feedback!
