370z hood

Hello guys, i am planning to buy aftermarket hood for my 370z and my question is what material is better carbon fiber or fiberglass and which one can be painted to match my stock colour?? thanks

Depends on what you're going for. If you're going to paint it anyway, just get the fiberglass version. I've read that even with some brands that offer carbon fiber, the weight saving is minimal as the aluminum hood is already lightweight.

Magnesium or carbotanium.

most carbon fiber hoods actually weigh more than the stock Z hood, so its more for looks than anything else... fiberglass is light as well, but flimsy and if you are going to paint it the body color, it would be cheaper for fiberglass.... im guessing you want something vented so fiberglass is my suggestion..

If you want vented, but the Carbon Signal add on pieces, and form them into your hood

If you go Fiberglass you will need hood pins...

Google it.

Not many out there.
Do what I said, easier, cheaper, most likely better quality
