I need seat suggestions

Hey guys, I need to borrow your expertise and experience for a minute. I'm thinking about getting some racing seats, but I don't know exactly what I want. I know I want one that's reclinable, and not too expensive for a pair. At this point I'm more concerned about looks and comfort rather than performance and weight savings.

Also, I'm not sure how much I can sell my base seats for, what have you seen them go for before? I'd like to spend around $500-$600 total, so if I can sell my stock seats for $500 then I could spend maybe $1200 on race seats.

Any suggestions? I was looking at sparco chronos and they looked nice, but I wonder how they feel. I need to find a place where I can sit in some first, no idea where that would be...

Great question as I am in the same boat. Recently I have been aggressively researching seats, and I am leaning towards Status Seats. They have the SPA line that is fully reclinable and they are fully customization if you would want.

I am thinking the only determining factor will be to find a shop that has seats in stock, and feel what is best for my frame.

Exactly. I can read the measurements and know what should fit me, but I have no idea what feels comfortable. I don't want to be making the 14 hour drive to Zdayz and get a permanent back injury from super stiff race seats lol.

Thanks Mrs. BC! I saw those but they look pretty worn, I'd rather get some new ones :) thanks for looking out for me though!

Just bolt this puppy in where you drivers seat is now. Done and done.

That looks pretty comfy, but I think these would offer a bit more support for aggressive driving.

I think you're gonna have issues finding reclinable aftermarket seats for that much. What color are you looking for? The best I've seen for a good aftermarket seat is the Bride Euro II or euroster. You're talking about $1000 a piece for those

I guess you could also get the Canadian or Australian Bride seats for about $900 a pair on eBay

I was thinking about something like these:
Sparco USA

or these:
Speed

Again, my main concern is the comfort of the seat.

I forgot about the chrono road seats. I actually looked at those for awhile, they may be a good option granted i think they are cloth not suede which is definitely a downgrade from OEM seats. I had a set of sparco speed seats in cloth awhile back and they didn't hold up.
