Question Fuel Gage stuck .. indicating near full

I have a 2011 Roadster with 8500 miles that I purchased about 6 weeks ago. After the last fuel fill-up, the gauge has been stuck at full until I went about 50 miles (in city) and then dropped one light. Since then, I've traveled another 40-50 miles (predominately highway) and the indicator is still all lit except one light. So I've gone 90-100 miles with the gauge down one light. Also I noticed that my range calculation keeps going up. This morning it was at 272 and is now at 342. Any ideas?

No way!!! There isn't 500 threads to this already!!!

Sorry, it's a REALLY common problem. One more quirk of the 370Z that you'll have to live with

As DE.5oh said, that's just the way Zs are. The water temperature gauge isn't a lot better.

The car is constantly updating MPG and Miles-To-Go. They will vary depending on how you have been driving recently. And don't freak when the MTG display goes to "---" when it gets down to about 30.

Search this site for more details.

Edit: Just in case, keep an eye on it for a while. It should start dropping faster soon.
