Nissan 370Z Forum - Plasti dip?

Ok guys.. Don't blow up and say this is the wrong place for this. So me and my co workers think it would be cool if my front Nissan emblem and rear emblem and 370 would look cool if I did the logos in matte black. I have heard of plastidip or what ever.. I would love to get this done. One of my co workers sad if u do that the indented letters aren't going to show up if it's all matte black. I own a silver car and think it would look great. Is this a DIY or do I need to paint the actually letters Nissan a diff color so it stands out? Or will a plastidip look good matte black no matter what? I really think it would look cool on the silver both front and back and maybe the 370z
