Carbon rear diffuser

I was wondering if someone makes a carbon rear diffusor, nothing elaborate just the rear piece between the tailpipes?

Before somebody says...yes I did a search and after three pages not what I was looking for.

Thanks.

Evo-R makes one that's a knockoff of another one- Fujimura, I think? It might be worth the additional cost to buy the real deal, as Evo-R is hit or miss.

I was looking for a stock carbon fiber piece. I'm not a big fan of all those fins. I don't know of anyone or anything that makes it.

I took a look at both and I'm with you, I just want the identical design except in CF, I'm sure there is a market for that, anyone????

You can always get some CF vinyl. Such as 3M Di-Noc and wrap it.

I thought about that but I have never done that before I would %$#@ it up!

Are there companies out there that I can ship a few items and have them wrap them?

Im willing to bet down in Tampa you can find someone at a tint shop that has experience laying vinyl. Call around to some shops and see what they say or see if any of your local Z people recommend a shop that can do the work.

BlueBatmobile on here does precut vinyl so all you have to do is apply it. That is another route you can take to acheive the look you are going for.

If you just want the exact same as the stock bumper, not worth buying something and I doubt anyone makes anything just to replicate the stock section.

There will be a bit of fin to "somewhat" give a diffuser effect with anything on the market. Evo-R and Fujimura are pretty tame.

If you just want to slap some Carbon Fiber in between the exhaust you might as well have a shop wrap it in CF looking Vinyl, but personally I'm not a fan of wraps, I only like the real thing.

If you want to wrap other car parts in CF, look into Carbon Fiber Element, they do great work!

A FYI none of these people IE Vividracing, thezstore, 370ztune, EVO have these in stock they have to order these when you make a online buy. So the wait time is 6-8 weeks sometimes longer. I have called every month hoping they would have one but nope they say they are made when ordered which happens in a sweat shop or Japan. So beware if you order one you will be waiting.

I made a order through EVO-R and I have had 0 communication with them I have sent email after email phone calls and got nothing back.

Chuck33079 06-18-2013 12:23 PM

Better to wait than to be left hanging with no communication at all if you ask me. I'm waiting on some Evo-R stuff too, but at least I ordered through the Z Store so I get regular updates about the (lack of) parts.

red2010z 06-18-2013 12:28 PM

I called the Zstore earlier and he said they didn't get no diffusers in this shipment. I wish I would have ordered through them. Maybe pirates got ahead of the boat coming from Korea with all the diffusers :(

I can't wait that long. I only have a certain amount of time with PayPal to file a complaint. So I will give it a week and I will attempt to get my money back and order it through Vivid.

Chuck33079 06-18-2013 12:33 PM

I wouldn't give Vivid a cent of my money, but other people have had good experiences. I'd spend some time googling their customer experiences. The Z Store gave me a date of 6/24 to get the box of Evo-r stuff that they were supposed to get 5/31. If I call on 6/25 and they don't have it, I'll get refunded.

red2010z 06-18-2013 12:38 PM

I have only dealt with Vivid once for my exhaust I had no issues. I guess my options are very slim at this time for a diffuser.
