Z Fog Lights?
Are there any good front fog lights or daytime running lights for the Z?
|
There are some DRL's that are available from the factory.
Expensive and not that attractive IMHO As far as fog lights... NO! |
This is that you need..... FTW... but it could be had cheaper...

I wouldn't get fogs. I doubt they would look good on the Z

^^Thats the only aftermarket LED's that I've seen that looks good. Other than that the only ones that look good are the 2013 Z's LED's

DAT LED placement on the Amuse bumper is perfect....makes me want to get an Amuse bumper now

hmmm... those ganador mirrors looks pretty decent on the our z..... id still pick craftsquare though anyday :)
back to topic.... ive always wanted to mount the LEDS on the amuse bumper but the OP of that black z never told me what LED strips he used :( |
If you go to the Ausie site, I think he has a DIY.
His mod list says Custom DRLs. http://zclub.com.au/forums/ |
I guess you already know all that. I looked back on some of the original posts. He said they were like Phillips DRL's.
I wonder if the 2013 DRL's would fit in there? |

See - what I would like is for 180 to do a small custom housing that fits to the outer part of the fangs (09-12 - with on-all-the-time DRLs.
Similiar to these - which are from the G37 Sedan - but I rotated the pic to where it looks like it fits in the fang. Easier than a full custom light job, and much cheaper. |
Aren't the plastic pieces outboard of the fangs removable?
Couldn't you just take 'em off and mount something like ParkStr8's pics in them? Seems to me the hardest part would be finding a classy place for the switch. I now have a 13 and would like to change the DRLs to some kind of serious led driving lights. Aside from finding lights, there remains the switch placement problem. Inside the console? |

Never noticed this thread till now but I created my own next to the fangs. I put them at the same angle of the fangs to make them flow with the car better.

Go with a 2013 bumper swap.

Here are my Hella Micro DE 4300k HID Fogs. They are connected to the parking lights and really light up the foreground nicely and match the OEM headlights:

bummer...

+2 I was thinking this was the best light setup I have seen and was checking the bank account to give it a go. My dissappointment on finding out it was faked was almost as much as when, as a teenager, I found out Lauren Holly was actually fake and not a genuine redhead. Gutted.

So I went on the Aussie site and looked at all 12 pages...and can't find anything. Any help would be great!
