saggy stillen lip

Had mine for 2 and a half months and it's already saggin in the middle
any fixes?

i think typeone or edub posted a fix.

basically use more (better) screws and nuts to fasten to the bumper.

Mine was fine until the hot weather hit last summer. I corrected the droop with a heat gun (hair dryer works too) then I fabricated a concealed aluminum reinforcing rib and added two adjustable spoiler struts just to be sure. Finished the lip, the grill opening and the struts in black plasti dip (the car is Brilliant Silver), the car looks serious without being overdone.

These changes take all the droop out and they stiffen the lip exponentially, just stay away from curbs and parking bumpers!!

it really helped with my sag to replace the screws provided in the kit with bolts with nuts on the back.... with all that said and done, it still slightly sags. enough to drive me (a perfectionist) nuts. i want to go to the ings lip some day

What about a carbon fiber stillen splitter? Wouldnt it be better? Would anybody be interested?

I'd have to think twice about any spoiler, lip or splitter that was really stiff because the Z is low enough that it hits EVERYTHING so you always have to be on the alert for steep driveways and parking bumpers.
