Looks nice! Plasti dipping the front fangs would match well. Sucks you're rocking the front plate, that must be blocking a lot of air flow to the radiator.

You need to get one of the 2 mounts that go in the tow hook spot. No offense but have the plate just kinda wedge and bent up in there in a car like a 370z looks like chit. They are only like $100. Various mounting points on them and one pivots also. I have the pivoting one.
|
Any idea who makes the mount or where to find it? I'm buying a 370 soon and it makes me sad to think that I have to destroy the elegance of the frond end with a plate. Stupid provincial laws. I would love a more discreet place to put it other than inside the car under the windshield. :crying:

The headlights look great.
I'm in the same boat for my front plate. I don't have the toe hook location anymore, and I don't want to impede air flow to my inter cooler/rad/oil cooler, by placing a license plate in the grill. Looks like the factory mount is going to be the best option for me. :crying: |

but at the same time i dunno if i can go for the factory mount once u did that there is no return...HOLES:shakes head: |
Come to Sask, we don't need the front plate. Then again, we're communists.

Nice, you're more brave than me when it comes to heating up and disassembling the headlights. I'm terrible at painting and drilling nice holes for LEDs. No room for mistakes.

Ya true after the 3rd time doin it I get more and more comfortable and it was actually smooth sailing that's why I'm even more frustrated that I can't for the heck of it figure out where to solder my resistors onto to get rid of this stupid ricer fast blink
I feel like ppl look at the lights first and go ohhh daym but then see see the fast blink and be like "but that fast blink looks shitty " Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
LOL I'm used to the fast blink because I can hear the sound a bit more easier. I hate driving around and forgetting the blinkers are still active. Trust me, I hated hyper flash, too. It's just not as annoying with the LED bulbs.
|
Ya I mean if u r ok with it that's fine or some ppl just don't wanna temper with the cars electric or anything for that matter because of warranty and stuff but ya I just want it gone and I'm still at it lol but those diagrams are killing me here

It's not that hard if you get a cheap multimeter and test the wires. There's only 2 or 3 you need to look at. One is ground, and the other supplies 12V whenever the blinker is active. The DRL wire is the one that's always 12V when the car is running. So for all the bulb sockets, wire one end of the resistor to the ground wire and the other end to the signal wire, and it should work.
Here's a drawing someone did: http://www.ijdmtoy.com/ebay/iJDMTOY/Resistor/03.jpg |
see the load resistor thread I finished everything up thx to u an southArk! and as a bonus I knw how to read wiring diagram now lol
