Cost to paint a pair of sideskirts?

I have just withdrew a pair of sideskirts paint/installation from the body shop. I have many other parts being installed and painted. The total of this body shop was 3193.00 at first. How much shoul I deduct from the total after withdrawing my sideskirts for paint/installation?

Hard to say I’m guessing $500.00. You figure 1hr labor per side on install (and that’s if the shop is taking their sweet time because you can probably do it 30min or less each side) at $95.00 an hour (Cali labor rates) and about $300.00 on paint and materials. Im going off of oem side skirts do to no test fitting just unpacking wiping down and spraying. My 2 cents bro.

Not an exact comparison, but I got my sideblades painted for $125. Two coats of base and a clear.

Depends on the painter. You'll be quoted anything from the mid 100's on up. Body shops will usually spray them cheaper than custom modifiers. You get what you pay in terms of quality, usually.

He quotes $45/hr for paint but in the estimate, he charged me for 2.5 hours each side, for a total of 5 hours. I was reimbursed $115 for paint. But he needs to remove the side skirts to install my Rear Body Scoops regardless so he is still charging me for the labor cost.
