Nismo Front Bumper

Anyone converted only the front bumper from regular to nismo? I got a chance to convert for dirt cheap, wondering if anyone's done it. I did search but couldnt find many results.

I'm not sure if someone did only the front bumper but I have seen full conversions... You could probably just check those out for some pointers.

There is a guy in Houston who has done it.
Just for the front bumper I would estimate the cost for all new is, $2,500
New bumper pieces & clips
Aftermarket undertray
Paint

In the process of doing it now, my coversion about $1,600 with paint. You have to shop around to get the best prices on the major parts. Also Nissan nickles and dimes you on the small parts, but if your are resourceful you can fabricate them your self and save like $500. Read some of the threads there is a ton of information.

if you would have taken literally 2 minutes to look down a few threads....

It was more like $2,000 all in for "the guy in Houston"! :hello:

Baker North did all the work and it was excellent.

Looks damn good....uuuugh, seriously. I do NOT know wtf to do...wait and find a white Nismo, or pull the trigger on a 40th ann graphite and do the front end conversion on it....

Thoughts??????

I don't like the transition between the front "lip" and the side skirts but aside from that, it looks fantastic up there.

Yeah "that guy in Houston" is odd though...never know how he got that deal. :p

Just picked up my car from a bodyshop.
Although it does provide answer to your specific question, I have nismo front, amuse sides + rear.

I will post some pics later today.. before another 'potential' snow storm. (hopefully the last)

Maybe it's just me...but I think 2000 dollars for a front bumper is pretty expensive. Don't get me wrong the Nismo look is extremely sexy. But 2k for a bumper? My whole kit now from purchase to paint and installation cost me 1900.

Quality comes at a price.
Buying a Nismo OEM piece will pretty much guarantee fitment. Look at other full front bumpers such as Amuse, Zele, even the Stillen front bumper is 1,000+ and that is a multi-piece front bumper which has been known to have below par fitment.

I did almost the whole kit to my base + sport. Found someone on this forum who was selling front, rear and sides and bought it for $1600. If you want to see how it all turned out chek out my album

Had my local body shop do the work, grand total including the price i paid for the bodykit was around $3400.

If you buy it new from the dealer or Z1, you're talking close to that amount just for the kit, excluding the wing. Then tack on another $1000-$2000 for paint and labor.

If you can find someone selling their nismo kit, that is the way to go...but that is a rare occurance

To many times do we see people post up they bought a bumper for 300-700 and then come back and say they spend another 600 for labor to just fit it before paint costs.
