It was marked up to be repaired. They repaired all the other spots marked in the picture correct? It seems they messed the clear up on this particular spot. I would see if there are any issues with all the other spots they marked as well. Last time I had a car at a dealer's body shop they ended up settling with me before taking it to court. You never want to have to go throug with it but sometimes show of force of how far you are willing to take it is necessary before they will budge. Hopefully your insurance can help with the situation and get it taken care of by them just fixing what they were supposed to have already done.

Just took these. I see some previous damaged spots near the lower part of the side blinker, nothing in the front fender area where they had circled, a few tiny scratches that may have been there prior to repair and of course, the cracked spot.

I'd be pissed! I'd definitely contact the shop manager if I were you... I hope it all pans out =(

"We mark up prior damage as well as what is to be repaired. It was a rock chip that was cleared over, you shouldn't have any issues with it spreading unless you mess with it. If we called every customer about prior rock chips before performing work, we would be doing that all day. It's pretty hard to see, but I know you're meticulous with your car, it's very well kept. Unfortunately if it spreads, there is nothing we can do to fix it under our warranty but we can do a customer write up. You're looking at $500-$600 for the fender and door repaint."
