370z front lip with H&R Spring setup

I'm currently have H&R spring with the stock sport rays rims. The H&R spring drop is pretty aggressive and I was wondering if I put on the front lip, it would be too low. If anyone who have this setup please kindly post up some pic. Thanks so much.

Have the same set up. Love the drop but will scrape. I scrape now with the air deflector.Speed Bumps, Deep Driveways and Just Bad Roads.

Not all lips go that low so it entirely depends on what you want to install.

Axmea, if possible can you please show me some lip that actually cover a section of the bumper instead of just addon to the bottom of the bumper and start where the bottom bumper end? I saw a few out there but not sure which one cover a little area of the bumper and which one just add to the bottom of the bumper. Thanks

Not all lips are the same- you will scrape with anything that's not very conservative.

Expect the lip to have a limited lifespan with that kind of drop unless you're extremely careful with your driving.

my ings cf lip has more clearance than the stock deflector. :)

something to check out i guess.

quick note that the ings+ is unfinished so you will have to sand it and clearcoat (paint) before install.

ck my albums page for picts.

OP, i'm running the same setup ; H&R springs and lip. I can say that i'm very low on 19s and a tad bit higher with 20s. here's some pictures for your references :

yeah hey its me. i put on the same lip as Iwan72 above me, but i got the ebay knock-off and had it color matched. theres maybe an inch or 2 max clearance on flat ground, but im fully expecting it to scrape eventually. in the meantime id say its a huge improvement and it makes the car look aggressively low in the front.

+1. I am on a conservative Eibach drop, less than an inch. My Stillen lip lasted about a year until last month when it split down the middle. :shakes head: It was coming out of a parking lot I have scraped on many times before. The cold temperatures probably didn't help. On the bright side, I don't scrape and worry about it anymore.

Oh BTW, i scrape everyday..

I have H&Rs on my Nismo and for the most part it clears. Steep driveways and anything taller than 5" and it scrapes all the things.

KamiSpeed 02-23-2013 05:37 AM

depends on the lip
