Apoc370z 02-18-2013 08:45 PM

Buy new seats

Edit: and dump the gf

Ziggyman 02-18-2013 08:48 PM

Try oxiclean. It works on most everything. Good luck!

Trips 02-18-2013 08:55 PM

You may want to take it to a detailer

TerribleONE 02-18-2013 08:55 PM

Oxyclean may not be a bad idea but not sure if it will leave a spot afterwards from the product itsself. Anyone know if its safe on seats forsure? Good luck man..

Or this!

GaleForce 02-18-2013 08:57 PM

A detailer with steamer experience should have no problem with that.

That's why there is a "NO FOOD IN THE CAR!!!" rule! HA

Z370Z011 02-18-2013 09:01 PM

A detailer it is.
Rather do things professionally.
Thanks for the advice everyone! :)

I'm a girl BTW HAHA. Everyone calls me "man" on here Geeze! Water would be all my BF gets in my car!

R6_Z 02-18-2013 09:10 PM

A hoover carpet steamer with the hose attachments works wonders. After I bought my Z used, I shampooed my seats. After the first pass it was obvious the previous owner dropped either coffee or coke on the passenger seat.

XiP 02-18-2013 09:19 PM

Perfect excuse to get racing seats IMO

Well I have been seriously deprived of a sports car my whole life (of 27 yrs! HAHA) Started off w/ a Ford Probe GT and after wrecking it one too many times was given a Dodge Neon R/T instead! LOL So I have been driving this neon (i keep "ricing" out) since High School and finally got the most "practical" car of my dreams!
BTW girls can be "stalkish" sometimes and if she sees what you post on here she might get mad! LOL (been there/done that)

If she gets mad for whatever reason ill dump her and make her pay for cleaning my seats... Haha :D
But.... Lets hope she reads nothing haha.

LOL Way too funny! I love the Z (and the attention)! Had one old"er" guy pull up next to me saying "cool car! I used to have an 80's supra that I raced." lol I was thinking "that ugly piece of crap?" I waste so much gas now though since I changed my exhaust. It just sounds to good not to punch it every time the light turns green!

If you don't mind spending the money, order this:
Amazon.com: McCulloch MC-1275 Heavy-Duty Steam Cleaner: Home & Kitchen

I bought one about a year ago after one of my car buddies let me use his. Seriously one of the best investments I've made. No doubt it will clean your seat. Great for interiors. Does wonders on wheels, interior, vents, etc.... If you shop around you can get it for a bit cheaper (I think I paid $80 shipped).

Many years ago, my GF spilled an orange big gulp in my new car on our first trip together. I lost it it on her, right there in the parking lot. Our first fight.

We have been happily married for 20 years.

Ridgerunner 02-18-2013 11:26 PM

Tell your GF bad news doesn't get better with age.

nogoodname 02-18-2013 11:27 PM

Bissell it out if its a cloth seat. I've seen this work pretty well.

All these new women with their not so obvious names confuse me too!!! Lol

At least there are more females active in the car community!!!

TerribleONE 02-18-2013 11:31 PM

this thread has so much win in it... besides the seat issue. Definitely no food goes in my car and the only drinks ill allow have to have a resealable cap!

:iagree:

But I allow food in my car... Honestly, for me, sorry guys, it's a car. I love detailing it, I love keeping it clean, but spill a drink, hell, take it for a drive and total it, f it, it's a car, I have bigger things to worry about.
(My ex DID total my last car, fortunately she wasn't injured, but SHE got all sad and depressed, she felt SOOOOO bad no matter how many times I told her it doesn't matter! When she picked me up from the airport she didn't even hug me because she thought I was gonna hit her!!! LOL!!! We broke up because we both moved away, still are friends)

Jasonle 02-18-2013 11:39 PM

glad she didn't get hurt... getting in an accident is much different then finding old french fries, snackwraps, crumbs, and all the other kinds of things I have found in other friends cars helping them detail.. I will eat in my truck cause its my DD even though it costs more.. however not in the Z

But a lot of forum members and people would still be a bit bummed that they lost their car, even if it was someone else's fault.
For me... If someone hits me, free body kit. If I hit someone, $500 body kit.
If someone hits me and totals the car, if I'm ok, sir/ma'am, are you alright? (If they're drunk, fúck'em, verbal raping. If I hit someone and totaled their car, if I can move, man... I'd feel like shite, and I'd call the ambulance for them...

Actually, I lied, if someone hit me and totals my car but I ain't dead, I'm praying there'll be a cigarette in the car, because I'll just sit there smoking and blasting music... (For some reason, whenever I think of someone hitting me, that comes to mind)

homeryansta 02-19-2013 12:15 AM

oxiclean it and get some clazzio covers.

axmea? 02-19-2013 12:16 AM

Hey, when you don't sleep, and even when you do you can only sleep for an hour at a time, LOTS goes through your head

Now that I think of it, Pink Floyd - Money would be the perfect song
