Best place to buy carbon fiber weave?

Hey guys, I want to start teaching myself to do carbon fiber overlays, and I'm learning a lot but I need to know where a good place to get quality CF from. I want to do white carbon fiber interior parts, I've never seen anyone do it before. I found a place called www.compositeenvisions.com that has a lot of stuff, are there any others? I'm nervous to use eBay because I don't know much about CF, so I want to make sure I get legit stuff.

That company has a white CF/Fiberglass mix I was thinking about trying out for my interior. I think it might look cool.

I just saw that Carbon Creations uses this same company, so they must be legit lol. When I get some spare cash I might pick some of this stuff up.

Just a fair warning, I have some CF and resin, and let me tell you. This isn't like working on your car. There is a fair degree of skill involved here. Try on something you don't care about first. Something easy like a flat board or something. I've actually done some CF stuff and I wouldn't trust myself enough to do my own car interior. I'm going to have Carbon Fiber Element do it.

This is my plan, I was thinking of ordering a decent size sheet of CF and testing it on just whatever is in my garage until I get my technique down. It seems to be a combination of painting and fabric work, both of which I've done. I'm confident that with some practice I can get it down well. Believe me, if I had the money CFE would be doing my whole car, but alas I'm broke as a joke right now. My wife is a flight attendant and makes up a little more than half of our income, and her company has just restructured the way they schedule people, and now a lot of employees are getting screwed, my wife included. She made about $1500 less this month than last month, and they've been making her drive to the airport every day and sit, so we've spent about $250 more this month on gas. The next few months look the same so far. To top it off, now taxes on my paycheck are ridiculous, my 401k just started deducting, and our car insurance doubled because of her recent accident. So basically, FML...

I've used these guys for CF for use on boats. They may have what you need.

Thanks for the links, it'll be a little bit before I can actually get started on this, I've got a lot on my plate right now and not much money in the wallet. I've just been thinking about this for a while now, I LOVE white/black contrast as you can tell from my Z and even most of my clothes. I can't remember ever seeing white CF in a Z's interior before, so I want to be able to have something that's unique (at least for a while lol) like I did with my backlit Z start button.

So take heed! If you do white CF in your interior before I do, I'll blow your car up! :bowrofl:

All i have seen has been Kevlar and CF weave. It comes out an off white almost yellow color. The Marine Grade Fiber glass with CF weave might be the way to go..

You might want to check this out. It's expensive, but it looks sweet. That have a couple different style weaves too. They can also dye just about any color you want, for a price. This white is what I'm planning on doing my interior with, once I get the feel for it.
