Aftermarket LED Interior Lights
I searched and couldn't find a thread on LED interior lighting. I was wondering who's changed them out and where they bought the bulbs. I've seen kits anywhere from $15 to $75.
Who's done it, how's it look, where'd you buy it, and how much? If this is a double post, please let me know, I'm a noob to the forum!:ughdance: |
For the map lights and trunk light you can buy them here: 370Z LED Map (Interior) Lights- 9 LED Pod Version
Here's mine with the blue: http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t...530f2a0a_z.jpg Looks bad @ss in person! |

except the visor lights, I'll be getting them from another place because superbrightleds doesn't have the ones I'm looking for. |

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps833b1f24.jpg I saw the ones on superbrightleds, but they only have the 1 led option I think. I couldn't find one on their website with the 3 leds that I found on another website. |

Wow thats blue, I was really thinking of going all blue but I wanted to be able to see if i had to use my map lights :icon17:
I ended up doing white maps and blue 3rd roadster light and very happy with the results. Crappy Iphone photos. Also all bulbs from JWMotoring. Attachment 61335 Attachment 61334 |
I like the whites
I got a pair on Ebay before the end of summer, at night, its like daytime in my car, crazy bright. Love it. Definitely a must change I imagine it gets even brighter if you swap out the map light lens for the GTR ones? |

Red isn't too popular for the 370Z customers.
Pic 1 is the subtle kit Pic 2 is (1) of these led pods in a Camaro. Your Z uses (2) of these so they will be even brighter! |
Just submitted my order, looking forward to it. Will post pics after install!

Quick question, I installed some LEDs for the interior, they weren't the 9 LED pods, is it normal for the LEDs to stay on real dim even if the car is off? Are the LEDs defective or is it normal? Here's a picture of the lights on and off.

I plan on getting these for my 40th...should be nice! |

however there are certain LEDs that have a parasitic (I think that's the proper term) drain. I'd suggest to replace with other brand LEDs. |
I got mine from iJDMtoy and 3 bulbs were defective. Same with superbrightleds. I'd go with JWM because they offer a 30 day warranty. It gave me peace of mind. Plus they were some high quality bulbs for a good price.

You shouldn't have any issues if you start the car regularly. If you leave it parked for a while you might want to use a battery tender. Quote:

I just ordered 2 HID kits and new interior/license plate lights for my 370 :)
