Carbon Creations spoiler feedback needed.
Looking to purchase a Carbon Creations N-2 wing (Nismo replica - similar to Seibon).
Everywhere I looked this company seems to be associated with Duraflexe's fiberglass version. Could be just a coincidence. I have read here that it is best to stay away from Duraflex body kits (not sure if the same is true about their wings). Anybody have any experience with Carbon Creations? Thank you. http://www.bodykits.net/images/bodyk.../175909/00.jpg http://www.bodykits.net/images/bodyk.../175909/02.jpg |
Why not just go seibon?
Personally never seen anyone running that particular wing. I would go with something that is proven already like Seibon NSM or EVO-R high wing. |
Cheaper.
But you are right about going with something proven. That is why I am checking if Carbon Creations has a track record. If it is good, then why not save half. If not, I know Seibon has been good. |
i dont see this on their site

It's not. I saw it on e-bay.

Knock off of a knock off?? |
I got the carbon creation carbon fiber hood and fitment was perfect. As for that spoiler..not sure on fitment and haven't seen anyone with it on here.

You get what you pay for. This will be **** and you will make up in price by paying body shop to make it fit/look right
|
CoolToy, did you ever get this wing? I have a local guy giving me what sounds like a heck of a deal on an uninstalled one. Just wondering if I should do it or not...... :/

I'm late but knowledgeable on the topic so here are my 2 cents.
First of all duraflex, Couture, Aerofunction, and carbon creations are subsidiaries of the company Extreme Dimensions. Second, having owned 2 complete body kits of Duraflex, I can say that there will be prep work involved. A lot actually. That being said, you still save money in the long run. The body kit was 700 total shipped, and i left the body shop paying 3000 (there was more involved then just the kit, there was some custom paint that went down. I believe prep of parts {bumper/sides/rear} was 1500.) That being said, I have heard nothing but good things about carbon creations, so you should be relatively safe. Third, I would order directly from extreme dimensions. Ironically enough people knock off extreme dimensions products all the time on ebay, and a real carbon creations piece will have an extreme dimensions badge on the box and packaging. I actually received a counterfeit kit (the first one i ordered) through andysautosport.com, so make sure and order directly from ED if you choose to go this route. http://extremedimensions.com/ |

Are there any badging marks or something on the actual piece? |
No I have not ordered this wing yet.
I was actually thinking of ordering this wing. Since I was going to paint it anyway. Welcome to Extreme Dimensions :: Inventory Item :: 2009-2013 Nissan 370Z Duraflex N-2 Wing Trunk Lid Spoiler - 1 Piece I saw a post on this wing, and the person ended up returning it. |

Thanks for the info Vichtz.
Pint - so that is a used one? How much do they want? Maybe call ED at 1-888-611-AERO, (PART NUMBER : 107412) and ask them if there have any markings on their products. |
